aPlus Out of School Care believes that children have the basic right to enjoy leisure, play and participation in cultural and artistic activities. Most of all children should be having fun and through fun learning how to socialise, share, listen with empathy, learn to celebrate others and just be children. Our programmes are planned to meet the FUN requirement and to help children see the bigger world, by celebrating countries, animals, and causes. E.G. World Elephant Day, Pink T-shirt Day. The aim is to acknowledge the significance of the day and raise awareness of the world inside and outside of New Zealand, using FUN as the vehicle!
Epilepsy New Zealand’s purpose is to create a community where epilepsy is understood, and people are supported to manage their epilepsy well. Our Educator team incorporates a person-centred approach to provide support, information, education and training. We are proud to be working in partnership with aPlus Out of School Care.
